Show season is starting!

February means showtime! The two most notable shows that we attend are happening this month, and both shows are a great place to meet, see, and learn more about the dogs and talk to their owners about their experiences.

First is the UKC Nihon Ken Invitational Show where there will be 2 shows on February 8 in Gardena, CA. This show is a great place for spectators to see all 6 native Japanese spitz breeds in one place. There should be Shiba, Kai, Kishu, Hokkaido, Shikoku, Japanese Akita, and American Akita in attendance.

Second is the AKC Silver Bay Kennel Club AKC-FSS Show + Meet the Breeds, where there will be 6 AKC FSS-Open shows (2 each day) on February 21-23 in Del Mar, CA plus Meet the Breeds booths for Shiba, Kai, Shikoku, Korean Jindo, and American Akita (plus additional breeds). The Meet the Breeds booths will be open from 9:30-2:30pm on Saturday and Sunday only, and run concurrently with the shows.
